**Clerical Support, Faculty and Learning Environment**:
The position will be responsible to provide clerical support for the Director of Faculty and Learning Environment, in the Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) office within the College of Medicine and the SAGE Director/Senior Administrative Coordinator for all tasks related to the SAGE program.

**Primary Purpose**: This person will support the director with activities related to recruitment, retention and support of educational leaders, identification of faculty development needs, and helping faculty to continually improve teaching skills with a particular focus on ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The role will also assist the SAGE Director and Senion Administrative Coordinator with the distribution, monitoring, and collection of program documentation.

**Nature of Work**: Reporting to Program Manager, UGME, with daily direction from the Director of Faculty and Learning Environment (FLE), this position will play a pivotal role in the success of the undergraduate MD program’s ability to onboard, support, and retain faculty and to continuously improve learning environments. The position will establish and maintain professional working relationships with diverse groups including students, faculty, and staff. Tasks may involve sensitive and confidential matters. Manage tasks related to supporting the Director of Faculty and Learning Environment and the Director/Senior Administrator of the SAGE program.

**Typical Duties Tasks include**:
FLE - Scheduling meetings and manage the director’s calendar, book travel and manage submissions in CONCUR. Coordinate communication between faculty, staff, and the director. Prepare reports, letters, meeting minutes, track action items, presentations, and other required documentation. Support policy and procedure document development to help improve UGME learning environment.

SAGE - Support recruitment initiatives, assist with course sign up, track completion of required activities, share relevant information and certificates of completion with participants.

Duties may evolve over time as this portfolio develops. Other duties may periodically be assigned to support the undergraduate medical education program.

**Education**: Completion of a recognized post-secondary administrative assistant program is required, a university undergraduate degree preferred. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

**Experience**: Three to five years of related experience. Proficiency with databases, Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required. Knowledge of University of Saskatchewan processes, including Unifi (financial software), AboutUS (HRiS), One45 (curriculum management software), SharePoint, and Banner would be an asset. Experience working and collaborating in a diverse and inclusive environment is required.
