Freelance Videographer - Real Estate & Lifestyle Content

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

I'm a real estate agent in Edmonton looking for a **creative, organized, and driven videographer** to help bring my video content vision to life. This is a freelance or temporary role to help build out an ongoing content library — with potential for longer-term collaboration as the brand grows.

You’ll be working closely with me (as Creative Director) to produce professional, high-quality video content that will educate clients, highlight properties and neighbourhoods, and strengthen my online presence.

**PROJECTS YOU'LL WORK ON**

You'll be helping with:

- **YouTube content** - talking head videos, market tips, client education
- **Property tours** - clean, cinematic walkthroughs
- **Neighbourhood & lifestyle features** - showcasing communities in a compelling way
- **Vlog-style videos** - behind-the-scenes and story-driven content
- **Short-form content** - creating Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts from existing footage
- **Studio setup** - helping optimize our in-house space for talking head videos (lighting, framing, and design)

**YOUR ROLE IN MORE DETAIL**

**Filming & Production**
- Plan and shoot YouTube videos and property tours
- Capture B-roll and help determine scene locations
- Offer input on lighting, framing, and setting the right tone

**Editing & Post-Production**
- Edit long-form and short-form videos with smooth cuts, clean transitions, and light grading
- Add overlays (text, stats, tips), lower thirds, and background music as needed
- Repurpose content into shorter clips for social platforms
- Create simple, high-quality thumbnails

**Creative Collaboration**
- Work with me to storyboard and plan video content
- Help develop a consistent visual feel and content rhythm
- Organize and store footage for future use

**SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU THRIVE**
- Strong storytelling instincts and a good eye for hooks
- Experience filming both sit-down and on-location content
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Comfortable with colour correction and audio cleanup
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
- Bonus if you can create thumbnails or help display market stats visually

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
- **Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle** for filming at properties and locations around the city
- **Your own videography gear** is ideal (camera, lenses, stabilizer, mic), but I can provide a drone and some basic point and shoot cameras as needed
- **I’ll provide all memory cards** — footage will be filmed on my cards and stored/shared using my system
- Access to your own editing device and software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
