**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Board of Directors Secretary, this position is responsible for the successful delivery of Tourism Pemberton’s visitor services. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and community-minded Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the Pemberton Visitor Centre during the busy summer season. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise a small team of Visitor Centre staff
- Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors
- Provide visitors with creative and appropriate recommendations and activity options to support a positive destination experience
- Coordinate scheduling, training, and daily operations including offering occasional mobile visitor services at individual business, the farmers market, events, etc.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation of the Visitor Centre
- Monitor inventory of brochures, maps, etc.
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining all visitor services data in Destination BC’s Visitor Network Data platform
- Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed
**Qualifications**:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Familiarity with Pemberton and surrounding areas is a strong asset
- Customer service or tourism experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
**Compensation**:
$20 - $22 per hour, depending on experience
