**Job Title**: Garden Centre Associate

**Job Type**: Full-Time
**Pay**: Starting at $15.75 per hour

Are you passionate about plants, retail, and providing top-notch customer service? Dutch Growers is looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic Garden Centre Associates to join our team. This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment where you’ll help customers, support the daily operations of our garden centre, and learn about a wide range of plants and products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Retain and share information about a variety of plants, garden supplies, and home goods
- Restock merchandise and maintain clean, organized product displays
- Help create visually appealing displays throughout the store and greenhouse
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and unloading stock
- Tidy sales areas, sweep, water, and clean as needed
- Operate the POS system when required
- Walk and work on your feet for most of your shift

**Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year of retail, customer service, or sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (bags of soil, plant pots, etc.)
- Willingness to learn about a wide variety of plants and gardening products
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a busy team environment
- Availability to work weekends, especially during peak seasons (May-July)

**Work Schedule**:

- 8-hour shifts
- Weekend work is required

- **Work Location**: On-site only (not remote)
