About you:
Role & Responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Manager as the right-hand man in managing a portion of the project construction, such as a section, work area, or work zone.
- Plan the work in coordination with the site superintendent and develop accordingly.
- Order all material equipment as required by either the Superintendent or Project Manager ahead of time in order to ensure the correct progress of the scheduled work.
- Enhance coordination between disciplines and work zones.
- Make sure the team or the subcontractors are working with latest approved documents.
- Monitor and alert on progress of the works, as well as any deviations observed during construction work
Propose corrective actions and implements them once validated by the manager.
- Continuously demonstrate, through actions, full involvement in QHSE issues (participating in QHSE meetings and QHSE programs, motivating the personnel and ensuring that staff follow the QHSE policies).
- Ensure compliance of the works with the safety recommendations and the Health & Safety and the Environment Plan.
- Secure the progress of the work of subcontractor working under the direction and alerting on subcontractor schedule delay.
- Attend morning tailgate/prestart meeting and other construction meetings as required.
- Develop work construction procedures and method statements, and work sequencing.
- Participate in the details of the operating procedures, coordination meetings, schedules and other project construction meetings.
- Submit documents constituting feedback relating to the works, in particular the daily reports.
- Check regularly the compliance with the protective measures defined by the Environment Manager.

Requirements & Preferred Experience:

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in the construction industry, preferably on large infrastructure projects.
