OBJECTIVES: - to greet incoming persons, answer telephone calls, conduct tours of home, provide security and continuity in the activities ongoing at the home during the Office Manager’s absence.

QUALIFICATIONS: - must be able to read, write and speak English - capable of doing simple arithmetic - able to follow oral and written directions - pleasant and courteous - ability to accept and carry out instructions/directions - must have empathy for and ability to get along with the elderly - must have decision making ability - have computer skills - patience, tolerance and politeness when responding to residents and visitors to the Residence

JOB DESCRIPTION: - check and be responsible for front desk float - answer telephone and greet visitors as applicable - give tours of facility and hand out brochures and information - record inquiries on prescribed forms - typing and filing as left by Office Manager - record sales of stamps and guest checks - receive and receipt payments by Residents for accommodation - prepare mail outs as required by Office Manager - prepare brochure packages as supply is needed - other duties as required
- Must be fully vaccinated*

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Work Location: In person
