Looking for someone to assist/support our 25 year old disabled son with his daily living needs and partake in community outings.

This is Family Managed Supports in our home.

This job entails:

- Assisting our son with his daily living skills.
- Transport him to community events and family/friends visits.
- Must be enthusiastic and have a good sense of humor.
- Have good communication skills (ASL is an asset but not required).
- Must be able to work independently while following goals set out by us.
- Be able to research programs/community events that benefit our son.
- Be able to write a brief summary of the day's events.

**Requirements**:

- Valid class 5 drivers license.
- Own reliable vehicle with insurance.
- Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search.
- CPR/First Aid (willing to provide if not up to date)
- 2 million dollar liability insurance.

This position is 25 hours a week, Monday through Friday
- 9:30am - 2:30 pm.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Coaldale, AB T0K 0E8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
