Internal Medicine Specialist

Saskatchewan Health Authority in North Battleford, SK is seeking a full-time internist. The successful applicant will provide Specialist services to North Battleford and surrounding area in a clinic setting.
Position also includes participation in scheduled on-call coverage.
**Job Qualifications**:
Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan and certified or eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). In accordance with the immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
**Compensation**:
Compensation is through Fee-for-Service billing based on the provincial fee schedule. On-call emergency coverage through the Saskatchewan Emergency Coverage Program. CMPA fees are reimbursed by the Saskatchewan Medical Association in accordance with their guidelines. As an independent contractor you will also have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of incorporation. Recruitment incentives available.

The Battlefords includes the city of North Battleford and the nearby town of Battleford with a combined population of approximately 19,000. It is home to a Regional Hospital as well as several family physician and specialist clinics, 2 primary health care clinics, 1 primary health care centre and 4 special care homes.
