Estimator/sales in The Manufacturing Industry

**Core Responsibilities**:
- Review customer drawings and generate estimates
- Contact customers about Request for Quote
- Authorize Customer Purchase Orders
- Review completed jobs to assess actual times vs. estimates
- Update estimates with routing request changes
- Follow jobs through the shop and discuss with the Supervisor/Lead Hand/Manager estimated times and operations for a job so that the jobs run as planned
**Qualifications & requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training is preferred
- 1-2 years’ work experience in manufacturing industry
- Experience in the fabrication industry an asset
- Ability to read engineering drawings (blueprints)
- Sales experience is an asset
- Self-motivated/Self-starter with a professional and positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/ tasks
- Attention to detail
- Excellent Customer Services skills
