A reliable and motivated self-starter with the ability to complete their work in an accurate and timely manner. This individual will be an open communicator and a team player.

About the job

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for preparing orders of connector plates and hangers for shipment to local & out-of-town customers. They will receive product from external locations and store it in an organized manner in the warehouse all the while ensuring to follow safe operating procedures in the use of all equipment.

Your main responsibilities and essential duties:

- Operate a Counter Balance Forklift (and maintain a valid operator’s license)
- Lift and stack finished product of up to 65lbs onto pallets.
- Required to wear safety shoes at all times in the warehouse and any other appropriate safety protection equipment as required.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate a forklift required. Valid provincial driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to learn and be certified on new equipment as required.
- This position requires the individual to frequently lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
- Basic computer skills: Windows operating skills, use of a scanning equipment. Must be willing to learn Inventory Management Software (QAD).
- Ability to read and perform basic math skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team working skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with customers, staff, and suppliers.
