**Salary**:
Classification 8, $25.97 - $26.77 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Staff Collective Agreement. Temporary staff are paid an additional 6% vacation pay and 2% on all regular earning in lieu of benefits.
**Description**:
In this role, on a relief basis, it is expected that you will be able to coordinate the invigilation team and perform invigilation. They will work with various departments, faculty, and external agencies to schedule, organize, and execute the invigilation needs. The Lead Invigilator is the lead in developing, scheduling and coordinating assessments and exams primarily for DC and FSJ and forwarding requests to other campuses as needed, cancelling invigilation's when necessary. You will act as the liaison between the Disability Services Coordinator and instructors in order to schedule and administer accommodation exams, as well as set and distribute assessment schedules, and plan and monitor expenditures and revenues within the invigilation budget. You will be responsible for training new invigilators and maintaining invigilation statistics, as well as assisting in developing invigilation policy, processes, and guidelines.
**Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12. Experience invigilating in a post-secondary education setting is considered an asset. Ability to invigilate all exams strictly adhering to guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and the security of all tests, and completion of necessary documentation for all tests. Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and the ability to learn databases is essential. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to organize invigilation schedules. Must be extremely detail oriented and possess strong communication skills.
