Cocktail and snack bar, Lisbon Hotel, located in River City/The Canary District in the east end of Toronto.

Our concept is a hotel lobby style bar that is open Tuesday-Saturday from 5pm until midnight. Small sharing style snacks, lots of sherry, vermouth and port and a very detailed and focused cocktail program.

Must have experience working in cocktail bars and a strong knowledge of classics. Hospitality is at the forefront of what we do. Our front of house program is very education focused, so a willingness to learn is a must

**Duties**:

- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and hospitality
- Execute cocktails to the standard of company protocol. Create off menu, bespoke cocktails based on guests preference and under the guidance of the bar lead.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Take orders and provide educated recommendations on food and drink
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Adhere to all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Be a team player We are a small team and it’s imperative you are able to work well with coworkers

**Skills**:

- Bartending: Proficient in round building, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or guests preferences
- Customer service: Ability to provide exceptional service, anticipate customer needs, and handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Hospitality: A friendly and welcoming demeanor, making guests feel comfortable and valued
- POS: Experience using point-of-sale systems to process orders, handle cash transactions, and generate receipts
- Math: Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Cash handling: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions, including counting money, giving correct change, and reconciling cash drawer at the end of the shift
- Time management: Efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting customer needs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
