**SAP Logistics Specialist**:
Our team in **Toronto** currently has an opening for a **SAP Logistics Specialist**

**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Purpose of position**:
To provide technical support and development for all Brenntag Canada SAP systems.
- Facilitate development of solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, technological options, and process facilitation techniques.
- Advise on options, risks, resource requirements, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.
- Post-Secondary Education in Technology, Business, and/or Computer Science
- Strong commercial knowledge and experience in leading project teams
- Strong technical competency in ABAP and SAP configuration, particularly in SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) is strongly recommended.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Analyzes business requirements and designs solutions;
- Configures SAP modules, primarily Sales and Distribution and Materials Management;
- Develops and supports ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) programs as required;
- Collects and analyzes facts to identify problems and provide solutions;
- Provides end user support for Brenntag Canada systems as required;
- Performs other IT-related tasks and special projects as assigned by the Director, Information Technologies.

**YOUR PROFILE**:
**Interpersonal**
- Forge relationships with the business. Communicate well and clearly, taking the time to understand user feedback and incorporate into recommendations and requirements
- Demonstrate leadership, flexibility and the ability to lead Power Users and effectively interface with various Sales and Distribution managers. Consistently achieving consensus is a key attribute of the successful incumbent
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and measured manner

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years of experience in the process design, configuration, support and trouble-shooting of responsible SAP modules
- Experience with integration and involving non-SAP ERP systems
- Organized and task oriented. Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects concurrently ensuring that timelines are balanced with resource constraints and resulting deadlines are met
- Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad based information systems and utilizing advanced tools and techniques to effect business change
