Reporting to the Autobody Technician Supervisor, the Autobody Technician will be responsible for maintaining the fleet of heavy equipment as well as the heavy truck and automotive requirements and needs. The Autobody Technician will perform jobs on a variety of equipment and document all work activities as required.

**This position will be located in Lundar, MB.**

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:

- Repair and restore damaged motor vehicle body parts and interior finishing
- Maintain the cosmetic appearance of equipment by washing, sanding and painting
- Repaint body surfaces and repair or replace automotive glass
- Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Provide labour support to other workers as needed or as assigned by supervisors

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:

- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Red Seal Certified or apprentice would be considered an asset
- Ensure safety is a top priority at all times
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to self-start and take initiative on tasks
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
