**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Prepare for and attend mediations and arbitrations with clients;
- Maintain accurate time sheets and follow firm billing practices..
- Stay updated on changes in family law regulations and practices.
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing compassionate support throughout the legal process.

**Qualifications**
- Law Society of Alberta Member in good standing.
- Proven experience in family law practice is preferred.
- Strong skills in legal drafting, research, negotiation, and writing.
- Proficiency with legal research tools is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
