**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.
- Perform accurate measurements for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Dispense and fit eyewear, ensuring proper alignment and comfort.
- Maintain knowledge of current optical trends, products, and technologies.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
- Provide education to patients regarding lens options, care instructions, and eyewear maintenance.
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize laboratory skills for lens fabrication when applicable.
- Handle sales transactions efficiently while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as an Optician or in a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of optical products, medical terminology, and retail sales techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory processes and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency in using optical software systems such as Epic is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the patient experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
