Hi My name is Brianna, and I am a 30-year-old woman with a disability living in Halifax, NS. I use a wheelchair full-time to navigate the world. I am outgoing, active, and currently finishing graduate school. I am looking to hire a few workers to join my caregiving team to assist with my daily activities. Pay is $23 per hour.

**Shift Availability**:

- I am looking add to my amazing care team and am hiring staff for both morning and night shifts throughout the week and weekend.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comfortable assisting with all aspects of personal care (i.e., showering, dressing, grooming, etc.). Bonus points if good with hair styling
- Comfortable assisting with transfers.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing living space.
- Preparation of meals as needed.
- Assistance with medication.
- Must be professional, responsible, & reliable.
- Willingness to be flexible and work with staff from the team to cover shifts as needed is an asset.

**Requirements**:

- Criminal record check and available references.
- Previous health care training/experience is preferred, but not necessarily required.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from clients’ place in the Fairview area of Halifax. Preference for individuals who live close to the area, but not required.
- Must be able to follow instructions and have solid communication skills to interact effectively with myself and other members of the care team as needed.
- Must have appropriate COVID vaccinations and be willing to wear a mask if requested.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
