Roofer/shingler

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Install shingles on roofs according to specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect roofs for damage and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to fit roof dimensions.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and maintenance person teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans.
- Strong experience with hand tools commonly used in roofing tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for effective sealing of roofs.
- Basic carpentry skills are a plus, enhancing overall project quality.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration on-site.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $22.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lanigan, SK: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction or Labour: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
