**CAREER OPPORTUNITY**
JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR
STATUS: 1 YEAR FULL-TIME CONTRACT
DEPARTMENT: FINANCE
REPORTS TO: MANAGER, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
LOCATION: VAUGHAN, ON/HYBRID
Key Accountabilities:
- Reconcile and approve internal client expense reports for direct deposit payment
- Processing expense batches
- Processing of inventory invoices, including P.O. matching, verification of information, G/L coding, data entry and ensuring payments are made to vendors
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Account reconciliations
- A/P Accrual Reporting
- Managing payable calls and queries
- Review daily invoice batches prior to posting
- Maintain A/P filing system
- Other related duties and special projects as required
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounts payable experience
- Minimum College diploma in Finance or Accounting
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word required
- Attention to detail with strong data entry skills
- Willingness to learn, good organization and time management skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a time-sensitive manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player
