**Preconstruction Manager**

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a detail-oriented team member that can manage our preconstruction team while working closely with our sales/estimating department to ensure estimate models and preconstruction projects are completed accurately and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the preconstruction team and all estimate model projects, including preparing Tekla models.
- Prepare scope documents for directing proposal, estimating, and design efforts.
- Provide quality control and quality assurance for large structural steel projects of Tekla models.
- Adhere to and support the implementation of department procedures, processes, and directives.
- Conduct project kick-off, department review, and management review meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum five years of relevant experience as a Tekla Detailer, Steel Detailer, or Structural Steel Detailer.
- Proficient in the use of Tekla Structures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and architectural design drawings.
- Knowledge of CISC and AISC standards for structural steel, provincial building codes, AWS, and CWB welding symbols.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Requirements**:

- Canadian Citizenship
- Legally able to work in Canada

**Experience**:
