Program Director/childcare Supervisor

We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated **Program Director / Child Care Supervisor** to oversee the operations of our Barrie centre. The Supervisor will ensure full compliance with the **Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)**, provide leadership and mentorship to staff, and uphold the highest standards of early childhood education and care.
The Supervisor will play a central role in program oversight, regulatory compliance, staff training, and professional development. This is an opportunity to guide a skilled team of educators and establish a culture of excellence in a modern, premium childcare setting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure the centre operates in full compliance with the **CCEYA** and all licensing requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor centre policies, procedures, and program plans.
- Provide orientation and training to all staff, ensuring compliance with policies, health and safety standards, and legislative requirements.
- Lead ongoing professional learning opportunities for educators, ensuring current knowledge of best practices in early learning.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Oversee curriculum planning and enriched program delivery consistent with the centre’s vision and best practices.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment that supports staff retention and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, staff, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage daily centre operations, including health and safety, inspections, and required documentation.
- Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff members.
**Qualifications**
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the **College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)**.
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a licensed childcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide staff training, mentorship, and professional development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the **CCEYA** and early learning best practices.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Current **Standard First Aid/CPR certification** and a clear **Vulnerable Sector Check**.
**Compensation & Benefits**
