Finish Carpenter

We are a property development company with multi-unit residential developments in Annapolis Valley. We are looking for a **Finish/Trim Carpenter **with several years of Carpentry experience to join our Team. If you have experience in finish carpentry, this may be the position for you

**The Position - Finish/Trim Carpenter**

**Responsibilities**
- Read and understand blueprints, and communicate tasks to co-workers
- Measure, cut, and install fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, stairs, decks
- Ordering constructions materials needed for projects
- Work in both an individual and Team setting
- Report to Project Manager daily, and provide project updates
- Maintain records of work done by Finish Carpentry team
- Stamina/strength to perform heavy lifting when required
- Train and teach co-workers and new employees finishing techniques and skills

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of Carpentry experience
- Resident to Nova Scotia and ability to work locally
- Driver’s license
- 2 refences ready and available, if requested
- Effective communication
- Superior time management skills
- Strong and proven leadership abilities

**Starting pay is $28.**

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift

- Kentville, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 5 years (preferred)
