Mill Creek Painters is hiring a full-time **Operations Manager** based in **Edmonton** to oversee job execution and crew performance across **multiple markets in Alberta** — including Edmonton, Calgary, and Grande Prairie.

You’ll supervise Lead Painters, manage scheduling and staffing, and ensure every project is completed on time, on budget, and to the company’s high standards. This is a performance-based leadership role with **stable base compensation**, **significant earning potential**, and **pathways to equity** for top performers.

We’re looking for a highly organized, solutions-focused leader who’s confident managing trades teams and optimizing job performance across regions.

**This Position Requires**:

- A **minimum of 2 years experience managing trades or construction crews**:

- Strong organizational and **problem-solving skills**:

- **Residency in or near Edmonton, Alberta (required)**:

- Willingness to oversee and support crews in **multiple Alberta markets**:

- Proficiency with tools like **Jobber, Google Sheets, Docs, and Indeed**:

- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Painting experience is highly desired but not required if you have strong operations leadership experience in trades or construction.

**What You’ll Do**
- Oversee scheduling, materials, and job execution across Alberta
- Lead and support **Lead Painters** based in Edmonton, Calgary, and Grande Prairie
- Ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Manage job profitability by monitoring labor, materials, and overall job costs
- Communicate with sales team to align booked work with crew capacity
- Hire and onboard painters and subcontractors in collaboration with ownership
- Resolve jobsite challenges quickly and professionally
- Use tools like Jobber and Google Workspace to stay organized and report performance

**Compensation & Growth**
- **Guaranteed minimum of $5,000/month**:

- Additional **performance-based pay** tied to **revenue and gross profit** from completed work
- Paid **bi-weekly** based on completed, invoiced jobs
- **Equity and profit sharing** available for high performers who grow into greater leadership responsibility
- **Company vehicle or vehicle allowance** may be provided

This role is ideal for someone who wants to take full ownership of their market and be rewarded like an owner — without investing capital.

Pay: $60,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
