This role will be based in **Mississauga, ON.**

**Your role within the Team**:

- Oversee and lead Project Controls strategy.
- Participate in Building and ensuring project controls processes and procedures are in place.
- Responsible for smooth operation of project Schedule updates and Cost reporting.
- Earned value management.
- Identify key variances and corrective action planning.
- Report to Project Director.
- Ensure change control is performed.
- Lead a team of Planners and Cost controllers and conduct performance evaluations.

- Must have relevant University degree (B.Eng., B.Com, PMP, MBA, etc).
- 15+ years of relevant Project cost and Schedule control experience, experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
- Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Expert Knowledge of project management techniques and a few years of hands-on experience (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing, and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
- Solid report writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work with staff, build and maintain good working relationships with Project Controls team.
- Ability to mentor junior and intermediate staff and work with senior project cost.
