Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide guests with exceptional service when they visit the park.
You’ll also
- Prepare desserts, vegetables, and fruits.
- Prepare various kinds of sauces beforehand.
- Ensure the meat is well cleaned and fresh.
- Ensure all the kitchen stations are well stocked.
- Meet the food sanitation and hygiene requirements in the kitchen.
- Oversee the Line Cooks and assigning them tasks.
- Check inventory and supervising their quality.
- Present the dishes and plating the food items.
- Adhere to the food rotation practices minimizing food wastage.
- Assist Head Chefs as and when required.

Qualifications:
- You
- Individuals who are enrolled in a post-secondary culinary program or related courses, or possess relevant past work experience.
- Previous leadership experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant kitchen environment or a willingness to learn.
- Current Food Safety Handler certification.
- Culinary knowledge in following metric and imperial recipes and use of kitchen equipment.
- 1 -2 years of working experience as a Lead Line Cook, 2nd Cook, or a similar role in the culinary industry.
- Knowledge curing, smoking, grilling, roasting, of various meats and fish.
- Knowledge of various food procedures and techniques.
- Willingness to work in a high-temperature and cold working environment.
- Availability that includes working flexible shifts on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
