We are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests, and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. **Summary** As a General Maintenance worker at Lake Huron Resort, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This position is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and interacting with the public while contributing to a positive guest experience. **Responsibilities** - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on resort facilities and equipment. - Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues as they arise. - Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the resort grounds. - Interact with guests to provide excellent customer service and address their needs. - Work collaboratively with the Park Management Team to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. - Utilize schematics and CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management. **Requirements**: - This person is "on call" for customer service and park emergencies. - There will be weekly in person park hours, and 24/7 "on call" hours. - Must live in close proximity as this person must be quickly available. - Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance. - Drivers License, able to operate heavy equipment. - Pumping sewage. - Pool maintenance. - Cleaning washrooms, recreation center, playground and beach. - Gardening and weeding. - Basic plumbing and electrical skills are an asset but not required. - Ability to work well within a team. - Excellent customer service skills to enhance guest interactions. - Familiarity with electrical systems is preferred. - Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication. **Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 4 months Pay: From $2,800.00 per month Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Every Weekend - Holidays - Morning shift - On call - Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-06-23
