**POSITION SCOPE**: The Cleaning Team Leader provides field support to our cleaning teams. Support provided includes training, guidance with starting new clients, inspections of team's performance and compliance within our usual high standards, assistance with troubleshooting customer requests/complaints, and coordinating site visits of accounts.

This position is not a 9 to 5 job, some flexibility is required as business needs dictate. If offered this position, you can expect a competitive base salary and the opportunity to expand your career based on performance. 80% of your time will be in the field and 20% of your time in the office for administrative tasks.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Meeting with the cleaning team in the field at customer locations
- Train new hires
- Maintain open communication with Assistant Site Manager/Site Manager regarding staffing issues, safety, supplies, and other related business concerns
- Providing guidance to the cleaning team in troubleshooting customer requests/complaints or deficiencies identified during client inspections
- Thoroughly documenting and providing reports on site visits/inspections.
- Assisting with new customer start ups, get keys, codes etc., ensuring scope of work has been completed
- Maintain and secure storage areas and cleaning equipment/supplies ensuring safety of staff and the public
- Report equipment repairs and stock shortages
- Efficiently manage inventory levels of regularly ordered items
- Deliver customer supplies If needed
- Respond to inquiries outside business hours such as evening and weekends to meet business needs

**REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer and smart phone knowledge with experience using MS Office programs
- Ability to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Flexible to work some weekends

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous supervisory experience considered an asset;
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract;
- Acceptable security and criminal record check

Must be able to work well with others and be able to manage staff to meet their potential and company goals

Self Starter and able to work independently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
