We are seeking a motivated and reliable Gardening and Landscaping Assistant to join our team in Midtown Toronto and help bring our clients’ outdoor visions to life.

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Lawn Maintenance: Mow lawns, trim edges, and remove clippings to ensure a neat and professional appearance.
- Sod and Garden Installation: Assist in installing sod, planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, and preparing soil for new garden beds.
- General Landscaping Tasks: Support the team in tasks such as raking, pruning, fertilizing, and watering plants and lawns.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and hand tools, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Site Cleanup: Clear debris, leaves, and other materials from job sites to maintain a tidy work environment.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate politely with clients and follow instructions to meet their landscaping needs.

Qualifications:

- No prior experience required, but a passion for outdoor work and landscaping is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Basic knowledge of gardening tools and equipment is an advantage but not required (training provided).
