Railing Installer

**Responsibilities**:

- Install railing systems, stair stringers, handrails, and overhead glass canopies (working at heights required)
- Read and interpret schematics or drawings to accurately complete installation tasks
- Perform shop duties: cutting parts, tack welding, prepping, grinding, and sanding
- Build and weld components for projects as required
- Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and meet safety and quality standards
- Assist with general labour and vehicle maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site or shop space
- Collaborate with team members and troubleshoot installation challenges as they arise

**Qualifications**:

- Hands-on experience with construction, welding, carpentry, or mechanical trades
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Capable of lifting and handling materials over 60 lbs (e.g., glass panels and railings)
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Preference given to applicants with experience in welding, shop work, carpentry, or mechanical repair

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
