This is a full time position that requires to commute to jobsites everyday.

Under the direction of the Production Manager, complete various carpentry and general labour requirements, including (but not limited to):

- Cutting of plywood sheets, and or woods of all sorts to required width and pieces.
- Very comfortable working with machine saws of all sorts.
- Drive company trucks to transport materials to project locations throughout Greater Vancouver area.
- Load and unload goods, tools, material supplies from local stores, job sites, office warehouse.
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to all relevant onsite construction safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain vehicle cleanness and organizing tool storage at the site lockup and office by performing routine cleaning.
- Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends when necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year of experience in finish carpentry or working in wood cutting shop.
- Able to read shop drawings and building prints, specifications & other construction documents.
- Advanced spoken and written English.
- Communicates well and offers outstanding customer service.
- Works well under pressure and independently.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Willingness to learn, Good attitude & Detail oriented.
**- Ability to handle physical demands of loading/unloading heavy material is a must. Minimum to be able to lift at least 50lbs.**
**- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle is a must.**
**- You must be comfortable driving at least 14ft Cube Truck.**
**- Proven experience in previous commercial driving with knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
