WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our Winnipeg Distribution Centre is looking for 1 new member to join our team in the role of Shipper on a full-time basis. The working hours to be assigned will be 40 hours per week. The new team member will be required to work on the afternoon shift from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. They will also have the potential to work more hours, since overtime may be assigned, as needed. This role allows all team members to work on a split shift schedule with both Tuesdays and Saturdays off. We offer a great working environment and a competitive wage starting at $15.70/hour.

WHAT WE NEED?
- Performing tasks safely and maintaining product quality at all times.
- A great attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with other shippers, lead hands and supervisors.
- Responsible for proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to load and unload full and empty stacks of trays onto wheels.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 30 - 40 pounds above head and shoulders with arms fully extended repetitively, throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 30 - 40 pounds below shoulders with arms fully extended repetitively, throughout the shift.
- Ability to push and/or pull full stacks of product.
- Ability to load and unload full and empty stacks of trays and Product onto wheels.

WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT?
- Work as a member of the Distribution team.
- Assemble orders with 100% accuracy.
- Ability to use PC DATA, our pick to light distribution system.
- Preparation of Trailers (sweeping, inspecting).
- Loading completed orders onto outbound trailers in accordance with the respective load sequence.
- Loading/staging full stacks as soon as they are built.
- Closing a trailer and process the paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned.
