Lunch Truck Delivery Driver — Metro Munchies

Location: Halifax & surrounding areas

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Compensation: $18/hour during 90-day probation, then $20/hour (performance-based)

Metro Munchies is a growing mobile lunch-truck business serving local workplaces with fresh food, friendly service, and reliable delivery. We’re looking for a dependable driver who takes pride in being organized, punctual, and customer-focused.

Position Overview

The Lunch Truck Delivery Driver is responsible for preparing their truck in the morning, keeping inventory organized, and completing scheduled stops throughout the day. You are the face of Metro Munchies — professionalism, reliability, and great communication matter.

Key Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and ready for work each morning (6:00 AM start)
- Stock and organize inventory on the truck at warehouse
- Drive a set route and make multiple scheduled stops at businesses
- Provide friendly customer service at each stop
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Follow company procedures and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with dispatch/management about issues or delays

**Requirements**:

- Must be punctual and reliable
- Fluent English speaker (verbal communication is important)
- Permanent resident
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- No criminal record
- Comfortable driving and parking a commercial-style vehicle
- Able to lift, carry, and restock inventory (moderate physical work)
- Positive attitude, respectful, and team-oriented
- Flexible to adjust routes, schedules, or duties when needed

Assets (not required, but an advantage):

- Previous delivery, route, or lunch-truck experience
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of HRM routes
