Trainee Estimator

**The Role**:
As a **Trainee Estimator**, you will play a key role in assisting with cost estimation, project budgeting, and bid preparation for our ceiling and wall system projects. Working closely with senior estimators and project managers, you will develop your skills in quantity take-offs, material pricing, and supplier negotiations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all estimating tasks.

This is a full-time position from Mon-Fri.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, including material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural drawings and specifications.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to provide competitive bids.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and material availability.
- Support the estimating team in preparing proposals and bid documentation.
- Maintain and update cost databases and project records.
- Collaborate with project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and best practices in estimating.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Previous experience in estimating or a similar role (preferred but not essential).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Bluebeam and/or estimating software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
