We are currently seeking a **Part-Time **Dietary Aide** to join our team at The Journey Club within the beautiful lakeside community of Westman Village in Mahogany.

The Dietary Aide’s work closely with our residents as they are the face of their dining experience each day. The team will work together to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our resident’s arrival and take part in the full dining experience including presenting menu’s, taking orders, serving food/beverages and ensuring the overall dining experience is a memorable one. You’ll need to be quick on your feet and present a polite and friendly attitude.

**A day in the life of a Dietary Aide**:

- Prepare restaurant-style tables with detail
- Attend to our residents as they enter the dining space
- Present restaurant-style menu’s and assist residents in selecting food/beverage orders
- Be prepared to answer questions and/or make recommendations from the menu
- Serve food/beverages as they are prepared
- Collaborate with other team members and departments
- Handle concerns or complaints with a positive attitude
- Daily hours of work are scheduled between the hours of 6:30am - 9:00pm so shift times can vary

**What you bring to the table**:

- 1-2 years of working experience in a restaurant-style customer service setting
- Ability to manage a flexible part-time schedule which could include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience working with seniors considered a strong asset
- Patient demeanor & customer-oriented service approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly & outgoing personality
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Strong problem-solving skills & the ability to quickly adapt to changes/shifting priorities
- Present a consistently neat, clean, and professional appearance
