Overview

This position supports the business in a critical way by selling our valued customers high quality cannabis products and providing the highest level of customer service and product knowledge in each transaction.

What you will be doing
- Verify ID, ensure no one underage enters the store
- Ensure a smooth cannabis purchase experience with the processing of each transaction and customer order
- Respond to customer inquiries with product knowledge and accuracy
- Put together customer orders as they are placed
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and showroom
- Maintain inventory, stock storage rooms as product shipments arrive, and report any inventory discrepancies immediately

What we need from you
- College or University Degree in Business or related field
- Entrepreneurial drive - we want to hear about your side hustle
- A personal affinity for our products
- Retail experience and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- A demonstrated passion for community involvement
- Minimum age of 19 per the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
- Clear criminal background check
- CannSell Training Certificate (must posses prior to interview if selected)
- Eagerness to learn
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity and responsibility
- Experience in handling and utilizing POS systems (additional training for the Cannabis POS system will be provided)
- Knowledge of the various forms of cannabis, including strains, types, and effects
- Knowledge of the various forms of accessories and cannabis consumption methods
- Willingness and eagerness to learn the ever-changing products
- Positive and outgoing personality to ensure a high level of customer interaction and satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Experience in inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to organize self and workstation to maximize efficiencies

Duties
- Responsible for verifying customer ID to ensure no one underage enters the store
- Process transactions and customer orders and ensure a smooth cannabis purchase experience
- Respond to customer inquiries with expert product knowledge and accuracy
- Adhere to all company training, operation standards, and procedures
- Abide by all company, provincial, and federal regulations and requirements for the sale of cannabis and associated products
- Complete tasks as assigned by the store managers and team leads
- Put together customer orders as they are placed
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and showroom
- Report any inventory discrepancies to the team lead & general manager
- Maintain inventory and stock the storage rooms as product shipments arrive
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial drive

Participate in continuous learning opportunities as they relate to the business
- Maintain a willingness and eagerness to learn the ever-changing products
- Maintain a positive and outgoing personality to ensure a high level of customer interaction and satisfaction
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity and responsibility
- Operate the Cannabis POS system with accuracy

- Assist with inventory management
- Maintain a high degree of organization
- Cross-training to learn other positions
- Other duties as assigned

Pay Rate

$37,570 annual salary for full time position, $17/hr for part-time.

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.50 per hour
