Electro-magnetic Intern

**Job Purpose**:

As an intern in magnetic design team, you will be an active member of the magnetic design team for electric motors. You will be in the role to support magnetic designers in various aspects including simulation, data processing, testing report preparation, design tool programming.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Primary Job Responsibilities**:

- Build magnetic and thermal model
- Perform motor electromagnetic and thermal simulation.
- Perform basic motor thermal simulation in MotorCad
- Run basic structural analysis, support detailed analysis to structure team
- Engage in multi-physical motor design tool development-Programming in Matlab and Python
- Assist Magnetic core characterization on loss and B(H) curve
- Support to prepare test and validation report on performance and motor durability.

**Required Skills and Education**
- Master or PhD student in electrical engineering, preferred electrical machine and drive domain
- Basic knowledge on electrical motor components and functionality
- Strong programming skill in Matlab and Python
- Basic knowledge of cooling system principle
- Preference to have basic knowledge of magnetic and insulation materials.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
