Surrey, Canada Multi Disciplinary Engineering Ltd. Full time

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Civil Drafting Design Technician. This is a full-time permanent position based in our Surrey office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and draft infrastructure improvement projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D from concept to completion.
- Prepare base drawings and record drawings.
- Create design drawings for roads, land development, storm and sanitary sewers, water mains, lot grading, stormwater management systems, and erosion and sediment control plans.
- Follow design and construction standards established in the MMCD standards and specifications.
- Work independently under mínimal supervision while effectively collaborating with others.
- Conduct field reviews and on-site tests by traveling to project sites.
- Maintain a safety-oriented attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to excel and achieve.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Civil Engineering Technology Diploma with at least 3 years of related working experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent design skills in producing municipal servicing design drawings for various infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites for field reviews and on-site tests.
- Safety-oriented attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to excel and achieve.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
