At Autoport, our Rail Loaders safely load new vehicles onto railcars. Loaders are experienced motorists who work as a team to maintain production standards without compromising their quality of work. Rail Loaders have one of the most physical jobs within the facility. Loading and unloading vehicles to transport by ship, truck, or train. This diverse team works together to productively meet deadlines, solve problems, and carefully drive vehicles onto railcars for consignment. This role will also require climbing up and down railcar ladders, opening and closing railcar doors, placing and removing chocks that secure vehicles for shipment, and the ability to be able to climb in and out of vehicles repeatedly. This is an entry-level position, but there is no need to stop there. Within Autoport there is ample opportunity for growth
**Qualifications and requirements**
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be able to perform physical labor
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Team player
