Seniors Services is in need of a dynamic and energetic auxiliary Seniors Leader (Recreation Worker 3) to facilitate Seniors Lounge at Queensborough Community Centre and təməsew̓txʷ Community Centre. You will work closely with the Assistant Program Coordinators - Senior Services, to encourage seniors to be active and social in their community through seniors programs, works shops, and special events.

**If you have some of the following characteristics and qualifications, we want to hear from you**
- You have completed courses in Community Recreation, Gerontology, Social Services or a related field.
- You have experience or looking to gain experience engaging with seniors 50+ in a recreation environment.
- You have knowledge and experience working with vulnerable populations and created inclusive safe spaces.
- You possess strong leadership and conflict resolution skills with the ability to be an effective team player.
- You have the ability to handle diverse situations with seniors from a variety of backgrounds.
- You have a valid First Aid Level 1 certificate.
- You will be required to pass and maintain a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
- _Hours of work are 3- 10 hours per week, with the possibility of more with growth of programs_
