**Qualifications**

You are a dynamic and reliable person; you have good communication and interpersonal skills. Your schedule is flexible, and you have good analytical and decision-making skills. You are committed to quality assurance and safety.

During your mandate, you will be asked to clean & disinfect offices, meeting rooms, cafeterias, common areas, restrooms, lobbies, food service areas, and any other areas that may require special attention. You will be required to sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, stairways and offices. You will also be asked to clean furniture, surfaces, windows and high touch points. You will be responsible for emptying garbage cans and containers, restocking supplies as needed. You may also be asked to clean carpets or polish floors using the appropriate mechanical equipment. You will be requested to move furniture and set up tables and chairs. No lifting to exceed 40 pounds.

You will need to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer, Sodexo, and provincial standards. Specialized cleaning equipment and techniques may be required. You will be asked to operate industrial cleaning equipment or other types of equipment.

It will be your responsibility to perform routine maintenance on equipment and pre-use inspections. You will be requested to communicate to your supervisor the need for major repairs.

You will be attending training programs (classroom and virtual), requested to comply with company safety and risk management policies and procedures, perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

High school diploma, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Criminal check required.
