**Position Details**
- Animal Care Services at the University of Lethbridge requires the services of a full-time, eight-month (initially) term Animal Care Attendant for the Science Commons Rodent Research Facility starting on Monday October 7th, 2024.

**The responsibilities are not limited to those listed above.**
This work requires working in a standing position, repetitive motions, and some physically strenuous activities every 2-3 months (lifting to 30 pounds required).

This full-time, eight-month term position may have the opportunity to become a permanent position.

**Position Qualifications**
- Applicants must have, at minimum, a High School diploma.

Applicants with a Veterinary Technology diploma (RVT), Registered Laboratory Animal Technician (RLAT), a bachelor’s degree in animal science or related disciplines will be an asset.

**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,648.00 - $4,036.00 monthly

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,648.00 - $4,422.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 6)
