River City Events seeks a highly motivated Delivery Driver/Event Equipment & Tent Installer with a positive work ethic who is eager to learn.

The Delivery Driver/Installer will oversee and coordinate workers' activities and efficiency within the rental division for the safe delivery/installation and pick-up/removal of rental/tent and event equipment over established routes while displaying excellent customer service abilities for our clients.

Responsibilities will include the correct and safe loading/unloading of the vehicles, rental equipment (tables, chairs, staging, drape, catering equipment, decor, event-related equipment, etc.), and tent structure installations/removals, recording of delivery information, supervising job sites and team members, and ensuring ultimate client satisfaction.

The position is a supervisory position expected to always operate the delivery vehicle/rental equipment safely, obey all rules of the road, ensure safe work policies and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized environment.

Ability to assist with training, tenting, leading a crew, and receiving shipping equipment, for which heavy lifting is required, with the capability of working effectively unsupervised and within a team environment.

A flexible schedule and the ability to work with heavy equipment are required, as this is a hands-on and interactive position that requires working indoors or outdoors in all-weather environments. Weekend and evening availability is also required.
- **PLEASE NOTE**:_
- _**Three (3) years of experience driving a 5-ton or larger truck in Canada is MANDATORY. A proof of previous insurance for 5-ton trucks in Canada (for min. 3years) is MANDATORY**_
- **A driver's abstract and criminal record check will also be required.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

**Experience**:

- 5-Ton or Larger Truck Driving in Canada: 3 years (required)
