Accounting Coordinator

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS:
Comptes Payable
- Examiner et assurer l'exactitude des factures des fournisseurs.
- Convenir des factures des fournisseurs aux bons de commande et à la réception de la documentation.
- Enregistrer les factures des fournisseurs en utilisant la classification appropriée.

Comptes à recevoir
- Faire parvenir les factures aux clients.
- Enregistrer les paiements dans le système comptable.
- Enregistrer les nouveaux clients dans le logiciel comptable.

Autres taches
- Aide aux réconciliation bancaires
- Aide à la clôture mensuelle
- Mission d’inventaire
- Aide lors de l’audit annuel
- Autres taches en lien avec l’activité du groupe et la collaboration avec le responsable comptable.

EXIGENCES:

- Une attitude positive et une ambition d'apprendre et de grandir.
- Compétences analytiques supérieures, souci du détail, excellente gestion du temps
- Diplôme en comptabilité.
- 2 années d’expérience en comptabilité dans un poste similaire
- Natif ou fluent en Anglais et Français

ATOUTS:

- Connaissances en comptabilité de construction et de fabrication
- Expertise en comptabilité de construction
- Compétences informatiques soldes; niveau Excel avancé
- Connaissance de Sage 50 et / ou MRI

We require someone with a background in accounting and who has ambition to learn and grow and to play a greater analytical and decision-making role within the organization.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Accounts Payable**
- Review and ensure accuracy of vendor invoices.
- Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
- Record vendor invoices using appropriate classification.

**Accounts Receivable**
- Issue credit memos to customers.
- Record customer payments.
- Complete new customer set up as required.

**Other Duties**
- Assist in Monthly Bank Recs
- Help with the Month End Process
- Assist with year-end audit preparation.
- Participation in inventory
- Other administrative duties as required to support a growing business.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- A can-do attitude, and an ambition to learn and grow.
- Degree in Accounting.
- At least 2 years in a similar position
- Fluently bilingual - English/French

**ASSETS**:

- Construction and manufacturing accounting knowledge
- Expertise with construction accounting
- Strong computer skills; advanced Excel
- Sage 50 and/or MRI Software knowledge

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Granby, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
