Property Maintenance Person - Saskatoon

North Prairie Developments is seeking a Property Maintenance person to help with various aspects of Property Management. The Property Maintenance Person will help with move ins/move outs, general maintenance and service. The position requires a highly motivated and competent individual who values cleanliness, organization, quality control, and professionalism. As someone who will be dealing with customers on a daily basis, a positive attitude and desire to offer excellent customer service is a must.

Main Responsibilities:

- Interior and exterior building and suite maintenance to ensure a well-maintained, safe environment
- Exterior grounds maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections on the interior/exterior of building and all equipment
- Repair basic plumbing, heating, and electrical issues
- Complete general repairs to appliances, dishwashers, doors, closets, window coverings, leaking taps and faucets, toilets, windows, fixtures, finish hardware, flooring, replace light bulbs, etc.
- Complete drywall repairs and painting
- Turnover maintenance
- General housekeeping/custodial duties to ensure cleanliness of halls, common areas, and vacant suites
- Complete documentation of maintenance tasks and reports as required
- Ensure safety to comply with OH&S Regulation
- Flexible schedule and availability to respond to after-hours on-call needs and achieve suite turnover deadlines

Qualifications:

- Communicate well verbally and in writing; demonstrate a positive attitude
- Must have own vehicle and drivers license with clear drivers abstract
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to excellent customer service and satisfaction
- General knowledge and experience with plumbing and electrical repairs, appliance repairs, carpentry and painting
- Must be available for on-call and weekend response as required
- Basic handyman tools
- Physically fit with the ability to handle the physical demands of the position such as push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25-50 lbs; walk / stand for prolonged periods
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Clear Criminal Records Check
