**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**

**RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Furnace Helper in the Tempering Department
- Load, unload, and move materials (requires ability to lift heavy equipment, up to 40 pounds)
- Send glass to the furnace one piece at a time
- Move glass around the site via tables on wheels
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are always adhered to
- Maneuvering and relocating materials indoors and outdoors of the facility
- General housekeeping duties and any other duties assigned by management

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1+ years’ Warehouse experience in a manufacturing setting, preference to working with tempering glass
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs
- Previous experience using measuring tape, and understanding the metric system
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office would be an asset

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift, 7:30 am till 4:00 pm
- Monday to Friday

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Furnace Helper: 1 year (preferred)
