**Job Summary**

**THIS IS A CANADA SUMMER JOBS FUNDED POSITION. YOU MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN BETWEEN 15-30 YEARS OLD WITH A VALID SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER**

In this role you will have the opportunity to learn to use a huge library of advanced maker tools and prototyping technologies such as 3D printers, hand crafting tools and laser engraver/cutters and use these skills to design and deliver programming to youth. From ideation to program design and delivery, coordinators will test concepts, paln art and STEM activities, manufacture program kits for youth and produce instructional materials for in person and virtual learning. You will then work as a teacher/instructor to deliver in class and community workshops as well as our STEAM summer camp programming to elementary level youth.

**Duties**
- Design, develop, and implement educational programs and workshops tailored to various audiences from Kindergarten to grade 12.
- Utilize classroom management skills and bring a fun learning environment to our students and camp attendees
- Help to oversee and deliver community education programs such as Outdoor art experience

**Skills**
- Strong leadership abilities to guide youth and influence positive outcomes.
- Proficient in data collection techniques for program evaluation and improvement.
- Excellent public speaking skills to effectively present information to diverse groups.
- Proven project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to market educational programs creatively and effectively.
- Experience in working in an educational environment with youth
- Passion for educating others and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Strong administrative skills to manage documentation, schedules, and resources efficiently.

This role is essential for driving the organization's mission forward through effective education strategies. The Education Coordinator will be instrumental in shaping the learning experiences of participants while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $17.20 per hour
