**Post-Doctoral Fellow, Monogastric Nutrition - Poultry and Swine**:
**Primary Purpose**: Applicants are invited for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow to undertake a one-year fellowship (PDF) on various funded poultry and swine projects) that focus on nutrition and health. The program is currently researching novel feed ingredients, antibiotic replacement strategies, and nutritional and bioactive enrichment to create nutraceuticals for humans.
**Nature of Work**:Research in In-person work environment - Office, laboratory, and barn work.**
**Education**: A PhD in Poultry and/or Swine Nutrition **within the past five years** is required. Training or experience in both poultry and swine nutrition will be considered an asset.**
**Licenses**: A valid class 5 driver’s license is an asset.**
**Skills**:
- In-depth knowledge of poultry and swine nutrition and metabolism.
- Being detail oriented and having strong research dexterity.
- Experience in handling poultry and swine.
- Effective interpersonal communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
- Interest in mentoring junior team members.
- Interest in science communication (e.g., blog posts and social media communications).
