Give Back Contracting is looking for 1-2 capable truck drivers and labourers to add to our fast growing team

Give Back Contracting provides a wide range of landscaping, erosion control, slope stabilization, retaining wall and seeding services to commercial and industrial clients across Western Canada.

**Water truck duties will include**:

- driving our large water truck every day in and around Edmonton, to and from maintenance site locations to perform daily watering activities (will have a partner with you each day)
- performing watering duties with a large water hose and unrolling/rolling up as needed with another person
- hooking up to hydrants with a meter to fill the water truck or use for watering as required
- coordinate with management and supervisors for any changes in field and addressing any concerns that come up on site
- completing equipment inspection forms, maintenance logs and site documentation for each location that you visit using the SiteDocs app on your phone
- picking up the water truck at our shop in Spruce Grove and returning it there at the end of the day

You will also be responsible for aiding in other aspects of services offered by our company, including general labouring activities from time to time as needed to help the team and when rain days negate the need for daily watering with our truck. People who show an active interest in our company and are willing to learn other aspects of our business may be asked to join a hydroseeding team which would offer additional hours of work and more opportunities as well.

**Location details**:

- Our head office is located on the west side of Edmonton
- Water truck job sites are located in and around the city of Edmonton
- Our shop where the water truck is stored is located on the east end of Spruce Grove, just outside city limits

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A valid Class 3 or Class 1 Driver's License
- Experience driving standard transmission trucks
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol prescreen, if specific job sites require it
- Minimum of 4 years of driving history with a good driving record. A driver's abstract is required upon time of employment.
- A safety-first attitude and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with construction industry safety documentation is considered an asset
- Previous work experience in construction is considered an asset
- Current CSTS, WHMIS and First Aid certifications are considered an asset

**WE OFFER**:

- Starting wage of $23-28 per hour, depending on your experience and credentials

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
