**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This person will hold a valid Nova Scotia drivers license to assist with catering deliveries and want to also work as a server at events to ensure they receive their full hours.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in food preparation and safety practices.
- Support the head cook or chef in executing daily kitchen operations.
- Assisting with catering deliveries, set up and clean up.
- Traveling with the team to catering events such as a wedding and working shifts a server with our experienced serving team

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety guidelines and practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward helping others.
- Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
