We are expanding and looking for a part-time assistant or full-time/part time asssitant/receptionist

**Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm Some Fridays 9am-1pm**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Assisting**:

- Assisting Chair-side
- Digital Imaging (Dental radiographs and photographs)
- Charting and notes
- Sterilization and Reprocessing
- Oral Scanning
- Patient and parent education/Oral Hygiene Instruction
- Welcome, seat and dismiss patients
- Helps patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment. Provides patients with instructions for follow-up oral care and appointments
- Supporting other team members in their roles
- Intraoral 3D iTero Scanning
- Inventory and Supply Management

**Reception**:

- Preparing treatment plans and estimates for patients
- Insurance: verify and send insurance claims and EDI
- Manage collections
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Processing payments
- Coordinating dentist and staff schedules

**This position does not require weekend or evening hours.**

**New graduates and experienced dental assistants alike are welcome to apply.**

**Requirements**:

- Level 2 Dental Assistant Diploma/License
- HAARP Certification
- NDAEB
- Childcare experience an asset

**Salary**: $20.00 and up per hour depending on experience and qualifications
